WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

  • We accept Cash, All Major Credit Card, *CashApp, Zelle & Venmo (username will be provided upon request)
  • NO CHECKS


WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?

  • We are open 6 days a week by appointment only. After-hour appointments are available. 
  • We are closed on Sunday 


DO YOU TAKE WALK-INS?

  • We are currently not accepting walk-ins. **APPOINTMENTS ONLY**


WHAT IF MY ID IS EXPIRED?

  • We are unable to provide service if you do not have current identification. 
  • Please refer to the list of accepted forms of ID listed on the homepage before your arrival


WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CONTACT YOU?

  • Though appointments are preferred, text NOTARY HELP to (919) 446-1759 for a faster response. Someone will reach out within 15  minutes of receipt.


DO YOU REFUSE SERVICE? 


Article I-A-4 of The Notary Public Code of Professional Responsibility states that a Notary should not refuse to perform a lawful and proper notarial act “because of any disagreement with the statements or purpose of a document.” However, Clear Point Notary reserves the right to refuse service if: 

 

  • The signer/client cannot produce a proper valid ID
  • The document contains blank spaces or missing pages 
  • The document does not contain a notarial certificate, and the signer cannot or will not instruct CPN on which type of notarial certificate is required (WE DO NOT GIVE LEGAL ADVICE)
  • If the transaction appears to be false, illegal, or deceptive
  • The signer/client is unable or unwilling to pay the required fee
  • The signer/client is unwilling to swear or affirm the contents of the document for notarizations that require an oath or affirmation
  • The  signer/client appears to be confused, disoriented, or lacks the mental capacity to sign documents
